How to Watch: Channels, Kickoff Times & Schedule Updates

Start with the matchup you want to watch, then check its kickoff time and the exact outlet listed on the schedule. This guide explains the labels on College Football Schedules and how to avoid choosing the wrong viewing option.

Find your game

Today groups games by the date in your selected timezone. On days without games, it shows the next scheduled matchups for your selection. Use This week to plan ahead, or open your school’s page in the team directory for its season schedule. Team and conference filters work together; clear one if a matchup you expect is missing.

Check the timezone before making plans

The site can use your browser’s timezone. You can change it with “Times shown in,” and your choice is remembered on that browser. Arizona and Mountain are separate options because their clocks do not always match. A game late at night can fall on different calendar dates in different timezones.

Match the outlet, not just the network family

Read the full outlet name on the game card. ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN+ are different listings; a listing for one is not a promise of access through another. Before subscribing or signing in, confirm that your TV provider or streaming service carries the exact outlet shown for your game. Availability can depend on your location and subscription.

“TV” and “Streaming” labels describe the listed broadcast outlet. A game may have more than one listing. We do not provide the video stream, and the schedule is not a guarantee that a particular subscription includes it.

Understand unconfirmed times and results

“Time TBD” means the kickoff is not confirmed in our schedule. Do not treat a placeholder time as a travel or viewing commitment. “TV / streaming TBD” means we do not have a viewing assignment yet. Check back closer to the game and consult the school’s official schedule or the broadcaster for a late change.

“Final” includes the completed score. “Result pending” means we have not received a final result; it does not mean the game is still underway. This site does not display live play-by-play scores.

Help correct a listing

If a time, opponent or channel is wrong, send a schedule correction with the teams, game date and a link to the school or broadcaster’s announcement. Read About this site for our data source and update frequency.
